odd machine - phase in, 2009

odd machine is an open-ended collaborative investigation whose first releases featured tobias freund and ricardo villalobos (nsp o3 © 2007); the projekt will expand over time to include a wide variety of musicians.
this time tobias freund got together with his long time friend uwe schmidt aka atom tm.
atom tm. whose musical friendship with tobias goes back over 20 years, provided linn 9000 / lm-2 an tenori-on rhythm programming which were recorded at his studio in santiago de chile and during a brief jam at tobias freund's studio in berlin.
tobias freund was responsible for the production, additional sounds, beats and mixdown treatments.

all in all a record that follows the idea of non standard productions.
